CompTIA Certification Programs

  • CompTIA A+ Certification

    The CompTIA A+ Certification Program is a certification program sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (The Association) that certifies the competency of service technicians in the computer industry. CBT offers both an extensive PC/Network training program encompassing the A+ certification and the MCDST certification or a 40-hour CompTIA A+ Certification Boot Camp.

  • CompTIA Network+ Certified Professional

    CompTIA Network+ certification is an entry-level certification for individuals working in or seeking a career in network support. The CompTIA Network+ certification is an excellent starting point for individuals wishing to pursue higher level certifications such as Microsoft's MCSE or Novell's CNE. The CompTIA Network+ exam combined with the CompTIA A+ exam counts as an elective towards Microsoft's MCSA certification.

    The CompTIA Network+ certification demonstrates a candidate's technical abilities in network administration and support, and validates your knowledge of media and topologies, protocols and standards, network implementation, and network support.

  • CompTIA Linux+/Linux Professional Institute Level 1 Certification Preparation
    This nationally recognized online Linux certification course was developed by Gatlin Education to prepare students for both the CompTIA Linux+ and Linux Professional Institute Level 1 certification. The exams  measure vendor-neutral Linux knowledge and skills for an individual with at least six months practical experience (Network+ or A+ background).

  • Security+ Certified Professional

    This instructor-led course and the related exam are targeted at professionals with at least two years of networking experience and possess a thorough knowledge of TCP/IP. Those holding the Security+ certification have demonstrated the aptitude and ability to master such knowledge areas as: general security concepts, communications security, infrastructure security, basics of cryptography, and operational/organizational security.

  • Server+ Certified Professional (Web-based)

    This web-based program has been designed for those individuals who are already working in the field and have a solid working knowledge of PC Servers and Operating Systems and already hold an Industry Certification.

  • CompTIA Project+ Certified Professional

    CompTIA Project+ certification, is a vendor-neutral credential recognized worldwide. CompTIA Project+ validates the knowledge required to effectively plan, implement and complete IT projects across the organization. Those holding the certification demonstrate critical knowledge of business practices, interpersonal skills and project management processes.

  • CTT+ Certification

    The CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) certification is a cross-industry credential recognizing excellence in technical instruction.

    CompTIA's CTT+ certification is the industry recognition for technical instructors that have attained a professional standard of excellence. A CTT+ certification demonstrate core competencies that include instructor knowledge and credibility, classroom performance, and effective communication and presentation skills.
