The Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) credential proves that you have the skills to successfully support end-users and to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments that are running the Microsoft Windows operating system. MCDST candidates are required to pass two core exams. Elective exams are not required.
This course provides individuals who are new to Microsoft Windows XP with the knowledge and skills necessary to troubleshoot basic problems end users will face while running Microsoft Windows XP Professional in an Active Directory network environment, or Windows XP Home edition in a workgroup environment. This course is designed to provide an overview of operating system concepts and how to troubleshoot Windows XP., and operate and troubleshoot Microsoft Applications such as the Office Suite and Internet Explorer.
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator 2003 (MCSA) 
The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) credential proves that you have the skills to successfully implement, manage, and troubleshoot the ongoing needs of Microsoft Windows® 2000?€"based operating environments, including Windows .NET Server. An MCSA candidate should have 12 months of experience working with a desktop operating system, a network operating system, and an existing network infrastructure.
To obtain a MCSA designation the candidate must pass 4 certification exams consisting of: 1 Client Operating System, 2 Network Operating System, and 1 Elective exams.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
To obtain your MCSE - First take and pass all of the MCSA certification exams, you will then need to take and pass 3 additional exams to obtain your MCSE certification. Please call CBT for schedule, pricing, and options.
