Fee: $760 payable in full at the time of registration.
Students
will also be required to purchase textbooks at an approximate cost
of $150.
EMT exams fees are separate expenses.

Program Description
The Emergency Medical Training Program consists of approximately 127 hours of lectures, a field trip, and workshops designed to prepare the student to challenge the Massachusetts State Certification Examination. The program is based on the Department of Transportation curriculum for Basic Emergency Medical Technician and is approved by the Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services. The EMT program gives the student an excellent foundation in Basic Life Support skills and techniques; patient assessment; and safe, sane transportation.
One of the required course texts, BLS for Healthcare Providers, by the American Heart Association, is to be read before the first class meeting.
