One of the best scenes in the in the
whole twilight saga, so far, is the chess match between Alice and
Edward.
Alice can see the future and Edward can read minds. Alice foresaw
Edward's moves, while he picked her moves out of her head in return.
Most of the match was played in there heads.
According to Stephenie Meyer, they each moved two pawns before Alice
flicked her king over in surrender. And seeing how there far more
intelligent then humans and probably have been playing chess before
you were born, they are good.
Here are the best possible moves I could conceive of; with the
condition there all pawn movements.
1: Edward: Kings opening/E2-E4

If you know any chess strategy you do know that a game
should begin with this move.
2: Alice: Sicilian/C7-C5

There are two common responses to Kings Opening: Kings Defense
and Sicilian. Sicilian is the more common and more effective.
3: Edward: Snyder Variation/B2-B3

B3 is the best combat against Sicilian. No more needs to be said.
4: Alice: Eclipse/E7-E5

Alice: topples her king/she quit
Alice saw that Edward was going to beat her.
Eclipse is my little chess invention. It was (and still is) the
best move I could think of that was a pawn movement. It works pretty
well. |
